WSIA Winner 2019

Supreme wins WSIA award for Tapered-V Hull

Last week, Supreme Boats was awarded a Watersports Innovation Award by the Water Sports Industry Association (WSIA) for the ZS Series Tapered-V Hull at the WSIA Summit in Steamboat, Colorado on March 1st.

The WSIA Summit hosts more than 200 attendees and celebrates achievements with awards across the towed water sports industry on both the retail and manufacturer levels. The Watersports Innovation Awards recognizes industry leaders and their products that have push the towed water sports marketplace to new heights over the past year. Products from various facets of the industry were awarded for the year of 2018.

Centurion & Supreme President, Paul Singer, stated, “Our Product Design and Development team proved that premium performance can be built into a value-class towboat with the ZS Series’ Tapered-V Hull. This level of wake surfing, wakeboarding and rough water performance makes Supreme Boats the true MVT [Most Valuable Towboat].”

The new Tapered-V Hull displaces more water with less ballast weight. This hull offers an extremely long wave with the consistent push necessary to easily teach novices as well as advance the abilities of seasoned professionals. The Tapered-V also creates a smooth rough water ride with double the degree of V (deadrise) as competitors. Add up to 4600 pounds of ballast, positioned in as many as eight locations throughout the boat and displace the entire running surface of the Tapered-V Hull for a long surf wave that can be achieved quickly and last all day.
